Things Aren’t Always What They Seem

This blog post was inspired by a very recent situation I was in.  To let you know what was going on without writing  a book, a friend of mine owes me a substantial amount of money that he promised to get back to me in 3 days.  Well… It’s been a month and a half and I could barely get him to return my calls.  Honestly, if it was just $20 bucks I really wouldn’t even trip, but me being a person who is concerned with my finances and even more so people being straight with me I had to do something I didn’t want to do, I actually had to get a hold of his wife the get him with actually answer my call! (She wasn’t aware of the situation and was furious lol)

Anyways, me and my friend worked out the situation after much discussion about the lack of communication.  The reason I gave my friend such a large amount was because he made it seem like he was HIGH rollin’ for so long I didn’t think it would be a problem.  He’s a charismatic guy with the “perfect” looking family, but he revealed to me that he was actually living with his daughter and grand kids because of a recent “drought”.

When I heard this I was shocked, but at the same time I wish he had been straight with me.  He told me it was hard for him to tell me that because men are prideful and a lot of us want to paint that perfect picture to the outside world.  Very Similar to how the apple looks like and apple until you cut into it.

It’s very obvious that there are a lot of people financially hurting that are putting up fronts.  Only 3% of America is wealthy, 10% of  America is at least financially stable and the VAST majority (90%) is broke or lives pay check to pay check.  If you fall into the latter category with many others, I want you to know I’ve joined a movement called Team Legacy.  We all want to leave a legacy for our kids and our kids kids.  To see what we are up to and possibly join us Click Here

Why I Came Back to One24

Ok Guys!  No Question, and NO DOUBT ABOUT IT!

I’m a Recovering Serial Opportunity Seeker!  You probably know I’ve done a little bit of everything in the last few years.  I just came to the realization that the ONLY thing I’ve done that has continued to pay me like CLOCKWORK is One24.

When I found One24 I was in love!  I had Truly NEVER seen anything like ONE24 in my ENTIRE LIFE!  BUT!  Like the good Serial Networker I am, I lefter ONE24 for other opportunity’s.  You see in a way It was similar to a guy or girl who meets the best relationship partner they ever had and left for the NEW THING!  Well, after I left ONE24 they still continued to pay me…  After Just a few months of working it and moving on to the next big thing that Over Promised and Under Delivered.  You see, I’ve literally been a part of about 10 different opportunities in the last 2 years!  I was looking so hard for that “PERFECT GIRL” that I didn’t recognize it when I found her!

Now, That being said.  One24 was a LOT more forgiving than I think your EX may be for leaving them! lol  Anyways, I’m back after getting my bumps and bruises and my Sponsor Keenith Reed welcomed me with Open Arms!  Keenith is a 6 Figure earner with One24 and is very much responsible for the checks I get each and every month.  They don’t make too many people like him and I hope he know’s I’m Thankful. That being said!  Time to actually put work in and take my 3 figure checks to 4 and then 5 figure checks!

I hope you decide to partner with us to save yourself the heart ache I experienced.  There truly is NOTHING better than 124 and I have the bumps and bruises to prove it! lol

Discussion: Does Positivity Go Unnoticed On Facebook?

So I was just thinking’ (like always).  You may have been thinking this as well or noticed it from your own experience.  Whenever I type something positive on Facebook, like a quote from a great positive thinker from history or simply just talking about bettering yourself, it gets HIGHLY unnoticed, but if I type something that is meaningless like mentioning a TV show, it will get lots of responses in the form of likes or comments.

Why is this?! I have my idea’s, but what do you guys think?

Just Do it!  That’s a phrase many of us have heard for year, and most people think of Nike.  When I think of the phrase “Just Do It” I think of the famous speech that Art Williams made back in the 80′s that tens of thousands of network marketers to this day use to motivate their down lines.  I have even been in companies where speakers even try to re-create the speech!  VERY funny!  Anyways… The reason I want you guys to check out this clip is because you can literally get over ANY excuse you may have by telling your self “Just Do It”.

MKG Lessons From A Male Escort Movie

In The Beginning…

So tonight was a date night! Whoo hoo!!! I had an awesome time with an awesome lady =)  Anyways… since we kind of flow the way of which ever the wind takes us, we decided to rent a movie.  The movie we picked up from the good ole trusty Red Box was “Boy Toy”.  To be quite honest with you guys, I wasn’t quite sure about the movie.  The cover looked like a cheesy “American Pie”/college bonehead party movie and I had no idea about who ANY of the actors were.  Either way we decided to give it a try with LOWWW expectations and honestly I’m glad we did!  It had some very valuable lessons that we can all learn from! Let’s take a look!

The Plot

To keep things simple without really talking about the movie too much… There were a group of friends who needed money.  They needed it FAST and they thought of a solution that they as a team could work out and mutually benefit from.  Their solution was a male escort service, but it really doesn’t matter because it can be applied to anything.  They found a need among a group of people and filled that need.  Lets examine their thought process!

The Process

1. They had a Huge money problem and their first thought to fix it was to start a business!  MAJOR clue… The late great Jim Rohn said that “Profits are better than Wages, with wages you can make a living, but with Profits you can make a Fortune!  Getting a job or multiple jobs never crossed their minds.

2.  They examined their strengths and how they could best capitalize on them.  Every person had a role inside the team to make the business work that they drew from past experiences.  

3.  They had a “product” that they all believed in.  They believed it was a better product than the toughest “competition”.(just watch the movie lol)

4.  They started rocky because they were messing with low level clients..

5.  They got ONE high level client with the right circle of influence and the flood gates opened!

6.  Opposition reared its ugly head a few times and one time in a MAJOR way! THEY PUSHED THROUGH!

7.  They dominated their city and lived happily ever after! (obviously, there were twists and turns along the way but I wont ruin it.)

All it can take sometimes is one person to change your life and show you a world and lifestyle that you’ve always dreamed of.  The main takeaway from this is with enough believe, strategy and influence you can do anything you want!

(Surprisingly no sex or nudity was in this movie despite what it may seem like, even foul language was at a minimal!  Still NOT a family film with all that in consideration)

2 Pains To Suffer: Pick 1

My Frustration: 

So it’s still the beginning of the year and we all have our resolutions fresh in our mind whether we are sticking to them or not.  If you’re sticking to yours I commend!

Honestly guys, I was about to throw in the towel on this blog post.  Why you ask?!  Because I already typed it up once before and somehow something went wrong and I lost the whole darn thing!  Very frustrating, but I’m sure it’s happened to you at some point in your life.  Even so I made a commitment to myself and I can’t back down from it.  Even thought I wanted the date to read Jan 6th on this post instead of the 7th I can’t let that frustrate me.  Things in life don’t always go the way we planned them.

The funny thing about daily goals is that they are normally very attainable.  In most peoples eyes they are even easy to do, but when something is easy to do it can be very easy not to do.  It’s been said by a wise network marketer long long ago that we “In life will suffer one of two pains, either the pain of discipline or the pain of regret”.

My Choice:

 I CHOOSE DISCIPLINE! What about you?

Our lives are the sum total of decisions we made along the way.  So every day counts!  Don’t let the day slip away!

To Blog or Not to Blog

The Set Up

So me and my good friend just got done discussing if blogging and attraction marketing techniques are something that should be promoted in ones networking business.  He came from the standpoint of it not being well duplicated throughout your organization, and that most blogs he has seen are of people who are telling him how to become successful when he can tell the person behind the blog isn’t successful.  He thought you should only have a blog if you are successful and making 5k/mo. or better.  While I agree that there are a lot of marketers hiding behind the computer, teaching things they haven’t accomplished, I believe blogs are a great outlet to show who you are at whatever stage in development you are at.

Yours Ain’t Mine

We all have different levels of success.  Success isn’t necessarily tracked by the amount of money in your bank account but can also be tracked by the skills you may acquire.   A dentists level of success may not attract someone who is an architect who is wanting to learn how to build a masterpiece of a building, but it will attract a new dental student.

The same goes for marketing in your business.  If you have been able to attract 50 leads per day toward you on a consistent basis, whether you called them to sign them up or threw the list in the trash means nothing because what you did after you got them is another story.  If you can generate 50 leads per day, you are a success in somebodies eyes who doesn’t know how to get 1 lead per day.

The Conclusion

Blogging is a marathon, not a sprint and should be treated that way.  While blogs are awesome and insightful, to actually have one of value you must be a doer and not just a talker.  Imagine what kind of following you could have if you’re actually out there hustling  and applying techniques in the real world and talking to real people about your business.  I guarantee if you are out there doing the do, you wont have to worry about what to blog about and if it will attract people.  You’re realness will leak through your keyboard and transmit to your website, and it will attract whoever is attracted to you.  You must be attractive to attract!

Humble Yourself

Some of you may or may not know this, but I’m the praise leader at my church and I do a fairly acceptable job at it.  I’ve always been humble about the gifts God has given me for a few reason’s.

1.  Arrogance isn’t very Christian like.
2.  I always look to improve and if I think I’ve reached the mountain top then I would be closed minded towards help.
3.  If I’m wrong or off about something the fall to the ground is a whole lot shorter when you’re already close to it.

1 Peter 5:5-6 NKJV

“Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to  your  elders. Yes, all of  you  be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.” Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,”

The previous verse shows that when you stay humble about your gifts you will be given an increase whether it’s in ability, responsibility, or even financial.  God is the gift giver so who’s really to say.  Just know that what He chooses to give you, you deserve it.

God will always take you to new levels that you deserve, not earn.  Therefore, don’t look to exalt yourself, let the Lord do it.  Stay close to the ground and you’ll be favored by people as well, which can go a long way in this life.  Until the next post, be blessed!
